/ Tim – Technical Director
Tim co-founded Gibber in 1999 based on an ideal that everyone deserves a chance to realise their own potential. Tim has worked extensively as both an actor and facilitator using drama for development since the mid 90’s working for companies such as Impact, Snap & Open Hand. Tim has learnt the value of using humour to break down barriers and is a strong believer in facilitating rather than lecturing.
“People want to find out the answers for themselves and I believe they should be encouraged to do so. By providing them with a fun, safe and positive environment to work in we can help them towards a self realisation of who they are and what they can and want to achieve.”
As well as the logistics of running the company Tim continues to write and develop projects and keeps his hand in with the occasional programme delivery.

“I have always believed in the use of drama - whether it is forum theatre, role play, facilitated discussion or interactive exercises - as an effective medium that provides a real learning experience for everyone involved. I have experienced the changes in people’s lives and seen the difference development through drama can make to a workforce, it really does work.”
